If you need support with using your smartphone, tablet or laptop, or would just like some tips about how to get the best out of your device, why not drop in to one of the IT support sessions taking place weekly in Scunthorpe Central, in the library meeting rooms on the first floor. No need to book; just drop in.

Why not drop-in and make the most of our free activity table, where we have a range of “ARTivities” for youngsters to enjoy. Inspired by our exciting exhibition programme, our artivities change on a regular basis, so there is always something new for your kids to try their hand at!

Available on a Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am – 4pm.

All ages are welcome.

These activities are free but any donations towards the cost of materials are gratefully received.

The nurse encourages better self-care within the community, practical help and advice but does not undertake invasive care which is the responsibility of community nurses. This includes blood pressure checks, general health advice, a listening ear, medication advice and support. All referrals are followed up by the nurse

An opportunity for kids to try simple fun coding activities!

A hands on fun session that offers youngsters the opportunity to try simple fun block based coding  activities, suitable for children aged 7 years plus. There will be an opportunity to drive our Sphero  robotic balls, try the Harry Potter coding wands or create simple games and animations using Scratch.

All materials are provided with a £3 entry fee to cover materials.(Parents who wish to stay with children throughout the session do not require a ticket).

It’s back!
By popular demand drumming workshops for adults aged 16+ with a disability are making a welcome return to 20-21. Offered as part of Do Something Different, the workshops will run on Tuesdays 1.30-3.30pm from 13 August to 10 September and cost just £4 per session.
