This is a sequence dancing group that is always happy to take new members.
First couple of weeks on a trail basis. £3 yearly membership then £1.50 per session

Saturday Night Social Sequence Dance is from 7.30pm to 10pm at Epworth Thurlow Pavilion on Station Road.

We generally meet at the Joseph Wright Hall, Queen Street, Barton-upon-Humber every Sunday evening, from 7.30pm to 9pm.
We are a community group, we get together to provide entertainment for the local community and surrounding areas. Our mission is to host productions which provide enjoyment to our audiences, whilst having fun ourselves. Taking on challenges and developing confidence in a safe, friendly and supportive environment.
New members are always welcome and there is always a role in our group for you.
Our joining requirements are simple. Pop along and chat with our members and if you like what you see then just complete a membership form and pay a £5 registration fee. (This is an annual payment due in April each year and means as a member of the group you are covered by our insurance and have the right to vote at meetings).

Singing for the Brain brings people together in a friendly, fun and social environment. Based around the principles of music therapy, the stimulating sessions include vocal warm-ups and singing a wide variety of familiar and new songs.
Takes place monthly on first Monday of the month from 1pm to 3pm at Barton Hub.
Donations towards the cost are welcomed.

Are you aged 45 or over and not currently in full-time employment? The Scunthorpe Central Writing Group meets once a month in the library meeting room at Scunthorpe Central to share their creative writing. The group are keen to welcome new members, so if you would be interested in joining, please drop in at 2pm.
Members of the group also belong to the University of the Third Age (U3A). If you would be interested in continuing membership of the writing group, membership of the U3A is also a requirement, for a small annual subscription fee. The group can give you more information about this when you drop in.
