Sing Along Snowman @ 20-21 Visual Arts Centre
Dec 4 @ 16:30 – 17:30
Sing Along Snowman @ 20-21 Visual Arts Centre

North Lincolnshire’s largest and longest established Festival of Christmas Trees is joining forces with 20-21 Visual Arts Centre to stage a brand new and adorable Festival Fringe event.

The Rotary Club of Scunthorpe has been organising the town’s Christmas Tree Festival at Old Brumby United Church, Ashby Road, for the last 15 years. This year we are delighted to present a jointly organised Fringe event.

20-21 education room and café will host showings of the much-loved animated film “The Snowman”, based upon Raymond Briggs’ 1978 children’s book, but with the added attraction of live music and your chance to sing along with “Walking in the Air”. Music will be conducted by Susan Hollingworth BEM. There will also be Snowman crafts and more surprises.

All young visitors to the performances are invited to come to the showings wearing pyjamas, dressing gowns and scarves – just like James in the film!

The showings are family-friendly and are likely to be very popular, so early booking is encouraged. Proceeds from ticket sales will go to Lindsey Lodge Hospice.
