Young science fans can try some real “hands on” science activities with the award winning Lab Rascals.

Krash Labs will be have lots of Minecraft and coding activities running throughout the day.

Tickets are on sale from at the Central Library, or online https://northlincs-self.achieveservice.com/service/sci_fest_tickets .

I can only draw worms: with Will Mabbit @ Scunthorpe Central

If you thought drawing worms was easy, think again. Will Mabbitt (probably the worst illustrator of his generation) shows you how he created his latest picture book ‘I can only draw worms’ (published by Puffin). He’ll be guiding you through the seven rules of worm portraiture, making some balloon animals, and most importantly getting children drawing with his inspirational lack of talent. He’ll also be reading from a couple of his books and for a finale will attempt the impossible: drawing something that isn’t a worm.

This is a family friendly session, suitable for all ages. Children and must be accompanied by an adult, and all attendees must have their own ticket, including adults.  This is a FREE event but you will need to book your place from Eventbrite.

There will be book sales and signings after the event at approximately 5pm, which are open to all.
