Human Machines Family Funday @ 20-21 Visual Arts Centre
Jul 20 @ 10:00 – 16:00
Human Machines Family Funday @ 20-21 Visual Arts Centre

We’re busy planning lots of fun things to see and do for this Funday linked to Johnny White and Amanda Wray’s exhibition Human Machines. This exhibition of humorous and interactive kinetic sculptures is inspired by the common experiences and feelings, as well as pivotal moments in life, which affect us all as humans.

Visitors can try out our giant sized ‘Operation’ game where a steady hand is needed to remove the vital organs and a selection of bones without setting off the buzzer. You can also have a go at making some gory and gloopy things such as a ‘pot of snot’ and a bloodshot eyeball. Don’t forget to get your face painted as well. Facepainting will be available from 11am-1pm.

The gallery is also participating in North Lincolnshire Council’s Power of Words Festival today. Sheffield based poet Joe Kriss will be spending the day at 20-21, helping visitors to compose their own verse in response to the Human Machines exhibition.
