Takes place every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday from 5.30pm to 9pm at Westcliffe Community Centre.

Doors open at 5.30pm, bingo starts at 7pm and finishes at 9pm, with a small break in the middle.

Food and drinks are available and there is also a raffle.

Takes place every Saturday from 7pm to 9pm at Westcliff Community Centre and the evening includes bingo and a raffle.

Refreshments may be purchased.

There is an annual membership of £1.

Junior parkrun @ Brumby Wood Recreation Ground

Brumby Wood Rec Ground junior parkrun is a 2k timed event for juniors only (4-14 year olds).

If you are not a junior please try one of our weekly Saturday parkrun events instead.

Junior parkrun takes place every Sunday at 9am and is free to take part.

Before your first visit you do need to register but you only register once and then bring a printed copy of your parkrun barcode each time you run.

The aim is to have fun, so please come along and join in whatever your pace.

Every week we go for a post parkrun coffee in The Pods and you are welcome to join us.

Action Station are offering employability support within the Community.
We offer a number of services to enhance your employment prospects and is available to anyone 16 and over.

  • Writing a CV or updating your existing CV
  • One to one support with job search
  • Help with job applications
  • Interview techniques
  • Accessing training opportunities and education
  • Voluntary work

The details of the session times are as follows:

  • Every Monday at Crosby Community Association in Scunthorpe from 9am to 12 noon.
  • Every Tuesday at Ashby Link in Scunthorpe from 9am to 1pm.
  • Every Wednesday at Epworth Community Wellbeing Hub from 9.30am to 5pm.
  • Every Thursday at Baysgarth Leisure Centre from 9am to 12 noon.

Central Community Centre Art Group @ Central Community Centre

Art Group that takes place every Monday from 9am to 1pm at the Central Community Centre.

This is for people who have an interest in art, this could be drawing, painting, chalks, charcoal or even wood burning pictures. There is no tutor but all are welcome and all members teach each other different methods.

A variety of play and learning activities for children.

A chance for parents to meet other parents and talk to staff about any concerns that are affecting their family.

Active Ageing – Ashby Chair Based Exercise @ Ashby Community Centre

Part of the Active Ageing programme.

These gentle sitting exercises will help improve your mobility and prevent falls. If you have difficulty standing or walking then chair based exercise is perfect for you. Even a small amount of activity can be a tremendous boost to our wellbeing and help you to tone and strengthen. So why not give it a go? You might be surprised at just how good it makes you feel.
